These are fairly lite duty shelves. I wouldn't put real heavy items on them. But they are really good for the price. Easy to assemble. The center clamps that hold the top half to the bottom are directional. I got 2 on backwards before I realized that. The directions didn't make note of that or missed it. The shelving material is a fiber board. Note sure how that would hold up in a high humidity area over time. They give you everything needed to assembly including a plastic hammer and gloves.

I'd say this is 4.5*. Pretty durable for the price. The only issue I had was the plastic pins that go in the support pieces. They were a pain to get pushed into the holes. I had a few that broke while trying. Other than that it was a good purchase. I may purchase another in the future.
